Wayne has been an international rugby referee for the last five years. He is of international renown and as a result has a particular interest and expertise in corruption in sport.
Summary of experience
Wayne began his career as a Barrister as a criminal practitioner, with experience throughout the London and South East Circuit, both defending and prosecuting a range of cases. He has handled numerous drug cases and due to a strong mathematics education, has always taken a particular interest in fraud cases. He has regularly represented clients in confiscation hearings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. Wayne is currently an integral part of an internal investigation into a multinational company which has self referred to the World Bank and SFO. He has conducted investigations in Uganda and Rwanda on this assignment.
