The nature of the mining sector means that our instructions invariably have an international element, often involving multiple jurisdictions and government authorities. We have particular expertise in Africa, having conducted on-the-ground investigations across the continent, and we have built up strong relationships with local experts that we can call on to provide additional support when required.
Our lawyers also have significant experience acting in international arbitrations in relation to mining disputes, including those involving sovereign states.
